Quick answers to common questions. Browse the guides below or visit the FAQ for a full list of frequently asked questions.

🚀 Getting Started

QRDoc converts a shareable cloud document link into a scannable QR code — entirely inside your browser, with no data sent to any server.

  • Open QRDoc in any modern browser.
  • Select your cloud provider (Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive).
  • Paste your publicly shared document link.
  • Click Generate QR Code.
  • Download or share the generated QR image.
Make sure your document link is set to public or anyone with the link before generating the QR code.

☁️ Supported Platforms

ProviderShare Link FormatDirect Download
Google Drivedrive.google.com/file/d/…/viewSupported
Dropboxdropbox.com/s/…?dl=0Supported
Microsoft OneDrive1drv.ms/… or onedrive.live.com/…Supported

🔗 How to Get a Share Link

Google Drive: Right-click the file → Share → Change to "Anyone with the link" → Copy link.

Dropbox: Hover over the file → Share → Create link → Copy.

OneDrive: Right-click the file → Share → "Anyone with the link" → Copy.

QRDoc works best with view-only public links. Avoid sharing edit links unless intentional.

🔍 Troubleshooting

  • Verify your shared link is publicly accessible (open it in a private/incognito window).
  • Ensure you are using a supported provider link format.
  • Refresh the page and try again if the QR code does not appear.
  • Check your internet connection — QRDoc loads a QR library from a CDN on first visit.
  • Clear your browser cache if you see an outdated version of the tool.
  • Try a different modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
If the issue persists, please contact support with your browser version and a description of the problem.

💾 Downloading QR Codes

  • Click the Download QR Code button after generation.
  • The file is saved locally — no upload to any server occurs.
  • Additional export formats (SVG, PDF) are planned for future releases.

🔒 Privacy & Security

QRDoc is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Your document URLs are never transmitted to any server.
