QRDoc is an independent software project by Ashwinkumar D Basari, a Lead Business Analyst with experience across HSBC, LTIMindtree, Wipro, and FIS. The tool was built to solve a real-world problem: quickly and securely sharing cloud documents via QR codes without exposing links in plain text.
The project is maintained as a zero-cost, privacy-first utility — no company accounts, no investors, no ads.
To make document sharing faster, safer, and more professional. QRDoc removes friction from the "share a link" workflow by generating scannable QR codes that work offline — no app installation required on the recipient's device.
A world where browser-based tools are powerful enough to replace heavyweight desktop apps for everyday tasks — without sacrificing security or user control.
Existing QR generators require server-side processing, collect your URLs, or embed tracking pixels. QRDoc does none of these. The entire QR generation pipeline runs locally in JavaScript — your document URL never leaves your device.
| Feature | QRDoc | Typical Online Tools |
|---|---|---|
| Server-side processing | None | Common |
| URL stored on server | Never | Often |
| Works offline (after load) | Yes | No |
| Ads / tracking | None | Frequent |
QRDoc is built entirely on open web standards with minimal dependencies:
