Currently, QRDoc sets zero cookies. This page explains our approach to cookies and what will change if we introduce analytics or advertising in the future.
📋 Current Cookie Usage
| Cookie Type | Currently Used? | Notes |
|---|
| Essential / functional | No | Not required — QRDoc is fully stateless |
| Analytics (Google Analytics) | Planned | Will be introduced with consent banner |
| Advertising (Google AdSense) | Planned | Pending AdSense approval — consent required |
| Third-party tracking pixels | No | None present or planned |
Until Google Analytics or AdSense is enabled, no cookies are set and no tracking of any kind occurs.
📊 Planned Analytics Cookies
- Pages visited and time spent.
- Device type, browser, and operating system (no fingerprinting).
- Geographic region (country / city level, no precise location).
- Session count and returning vs new visitor status.
A cookie consent banner will be displayed before any analytics cookies are set. You will be able to accept or decline.
💰 Planned Advertising Cookies
QRDoc may introduce Google AdSense advertising in a future release. AdSense cookies are subject to Google's own privacy policy and the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.
Advertising cookies will only be set following your explicit consent via the cookie consent banner.
⚙️ Managing Cookies
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Disabling all cookies will not affect QRDoc's core functionality.
🔄 Policy Updates
This Cookie Policy will be updated when Google Analytics or AdSense is introduced. Continued use of QRDoc after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy.
